Golf at Westcove

Our 3 Westcove properties make an ideal base for friends/golf societies to combine an idyllic holiday with golf in the legendary 'Kingdom of Kerry'. The area is well known for its golf courses, some of which are listed below. A local minibus can be arranged for all your transport needs if you would prefer not to hire your own cars... for flight info see 'How to get there'.

Within 25 mins drive:
Waterville - www.watervillegolflinks.ie - magnificent links course (always rated one of the top 10 in Ireland) - a must for serious golfers.
Skellig Bay - www.skelligbay.com - a fairly new challenging course, also in Waterville, with breathtaking views over sea and lake - reasonable green fees.
Parknasilla - www.parknasillahotel.ie - just east of Sneem - a very scenic 12 hole course - fun for all the family.

Within 45 mins drive:
Ring of Kerry - www.ringofkerrygolf.com - 18 holes with panoramic views over Kenmare Estuary - take a buggy unless you are a mountain goat!
Kenmare - www.kenmaregolf.com - the first 9 holes of beautifully kept parkland are followed by a hillier 2nd 9 - good value for money and an excuse to visit this 'shoppers paradise'.

About 1¼ hours drive:
Dooks - www.dooks.com - a classic links with views over to the Dingle Peninsular.
Killarney - www.killarney-golf.com - 3 courses on the shores of the legendary lakes.

The 3 properties can accommodate a maximum of 26 but up to 16 if single occupancy is required. Westcove House sleeps 10 in 6 bedrooms with 5 bath/sh. rooms. The Stables sleeps 11 in 6 bedrooms with 5 bath/sh. rooms and Garden Cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms with 2 sh. rooms.
